2017 marks the 50th Anniversary of Samaritans in Perth. For the past 50 years the Samaritans have supported countless callers and have seen thousands of people walk through our doors in Subiaco and volunteer their time.
Our 50th celebrations are started during National Volunteer Week (8th – 14th May) for past and present volunteers. Volunteering WA has generously supported our 50th birthday event, which saw volunteers from the past 50 years gather
to celebrate their achievements and contributions to their community.
This is the first of many celebrations planned for our volunteers and supporters. If you are a past volunteer or know one, then please get in touch with us for more details.
You can call us on 08 9381 5725 or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you’d like to consider being a volunteer and contributing to our next 50 years then please get in touch via the same phone number or email, or visit this page: http://www.thesamaritans.staging.wpengine.com/volunteers/apply-to-volunteer/
The Samaritans offers 24/7 anonymous crisis support to callers in need.
The Samaritans wouldn’t be here without the generous support of individuals, the wider community and businesses. The donations we receive allows us to provide crucial 24/7 Anonymous Crisis Support to Australians dealing with feelings of depression, sadness, loneliness and despair.
