“I joined Samaritans because I wanted to give back to the community. My experience with Samaritans has been exceptional – from the training, to the support and the very close collegiality of volunteers.  When I joined Samaritans I felt that if I could help save lives and and be there for  desperate and lonely callers, it will have been all worthwhile. It has absolutely been my experience.  During my time as a volunteer I believe I have had a positive impact on many callers. It is an honour to be a volunteer and that callers trust us and the Samaritans anonymity in their time of the need.”
