We’re here if you need us
For more than 50 years, Samaritans WA have been listening to and supporting others through life’s tough moments. We have helped countless people to find strength by talking it through.
Samaritans WA aims to help build communities in which people have appropriate support to explore how they feel and to build mental wellness.
We do this through providing Phone Support, Outreach Support and Training.
Need help?
Every day, we respond to hundreds of calls for help. No judgement. No pressure. We're here for anyone who needs to talk.
Volunteer with us
Being a Samaritan means being there for people who need someone to listen. Last year over a hundred people volunteered their time with us.
You can help save someone’s life
Your donation means our volunteers can answer calls for help from those struggling to cope.
WA's first residential service for young people at risk of suicide
The vision of Samaritans WA has always been a world where fewer people die by suicide.
We are proud to be a part of the State-first short-term residential service for young people experiencing suicidal ideation, in partnership with the State Government, Ruah Community Services, and Telethon Kids Institute.
This new service will support up to 300 young Western Australians aged 16 to 24 each year who are experiencing suicidal thoughts.
